I have been making models professionally for 10 years, 15 years in total, and have always loved making props
I am willing to consider taking commissions on making you a prop but please be polite and reasonable.
***** I have listed my plans for sale on etsy so take a look at the page : here *****
F.A.Q -Can i commission you to make me a prop?
In all honestly probably not. this is not my full time job nor is it even a bit of my job what so ever. I make the props i make for me and for gifts or close friends and generally dont have any time for commissions. but feel free to contact me you might get lucky and i might be able to do it for you but chances are i probably will not. sorry.
- How much do your props cost?
It will cost you money, more money than a toy from your local shop. I make all these things by hand and using my laser cutter, they are not mass produced.
- Where do you deliver to?
I live and make in the UK and thus if you are anywhere else than the UK it will cost a lot to deliver and you run the risk of it getting damaged in the post.
- Hey give me the plans for your prop!?
I will not just supply you with the plans or files for my props for free. I had to spend a lot of time working on them and giving them away is not an option. Prices differ from prop to prop.
- Why did you do it that way?
The processes i have taken to make these things are how i would do them , you may know a different way or a faster way, if this is the case leave a comment. It always be good to expand my knowledge.
- I need you to make me something for next week/month will you do it?
I have a full time job and a social life and to be honest i make these things in my shed so cant churn them out in days or weeks. it takes a long time to make my props. The lollipop chainsaw i made took 1 to 2 months.
-Can you cut the parts out for me so i can make the prop?
As a rule no, but please email me and ask me and i will consider each request individually.
If you have any questions please ask and i will try to answer them to the best of my abilities, but please be polite.

I do photography work for a body painter and we're slowly working our way through the Star Wars characters. You can imagine the difficulty in recreating C3PO with paint and make up. I'd like to make a helmet to give the body painter a "head" start, so to speak. Where did you purchase the vacuform head kit? I would like to get one too. focus1or2@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI got C3PO On eBay from someone called throwing chickens I think.
